House League Overview

Once you register for House League, mark your calendars for ASSESSMENTS DAY. For the 2023-2024 season, Assessments will be held on Sunday, November 5!

On this day, coaches assess the skill levels of all players to determine which players they want to "draft" for their teams. Assessments are NOT a tryout! Every player will be placed on a team based on their skill levels.

Players will be asked to demonstrate basic basketball skills in a group setting as coaches and league coordinators observe. Once the assessment period is over, the coaches will select their teams.

You will be notified about which team your player is placed on via email, and through the website.

All registered players in grades 3-8 are sorted into Divisions by age group. Each division has between 4-5 teams.

House League team practices are held 1-2 times per week, with Sunday games. There is no set schedule for House League practices and games - we update the calendar for each team's practices based on available gym time. Schedules for games and practices will be posted on the website and available in the SportsPlus app.

**There is no way of knowing in advance what team your player will be on until after assessments.
We do not accept requests for friends or classmates to be on the same team, nor can we accommodate requests for players to be placed on a specific team. Siblings are placed on the same team if they are in the same division.

Pee Wee Overview

Pee Wee Players (Grades K, 1 & 2) do not have assessments. The first day of Pee Wees is usually the second Saturday in December. Pee Wee sessions are held on Saturdays for 10 weeks (no sessions on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.)
